Demolished.. Amish schoolhouse of horror; DIGGERS MOVE AT DAWN.

THE Amish school where a gunman murdered five girls and shot five more was razed yesterday.

The West Nickel Mines School, where Charles Roberts IV took hostages on October 2, will be turned into a quiet pasture to give the Amish "closure".

Workers arrived before dawn to tear down the walls and topple the bell tower.

Mike Hart, of the Bart Fire Company in Pennsylvania, said: "It's going to be razed and topsoil brought in and grass planted."

Roberts shot the girls then killed himself after having dreams about abusing children.

The five wounded are in serious condition.
