Demand of Mid-term elections in unjust: Jahangir Badr.

ISLAMABAD, July 05, 2011 (Frontier Star): Giving value to democracy, Secretary General Pakistan People's Party Jahangir Badar said demands of mid-term elections is just for material gains. Politics of confrontation is a great danger for democracy. Talking to a local news channel, Secretary General PPP Jahangir Badar expressed demanders of mid-term election remained aligned with the dictators and kept on sharing their governments with them. He added mid-term elections aren't banned in the democracy but it isn't suitable time for elections as country is facing numerous problems whether these parties govern or sit on opposition benches their mentality won't change. He added government and Opposition must stand side by side to strengthen democracy. He said Farzana Raja's statement 'political terrorists endangered democracy' carries weight. Several dictator came to flush out PPP from the face of the politics but their efforts turned out to be failures.
