BANKING AND CREDIT NEWS-December 3, 2013--Delucchi named COO of Orient Bancorporation


3 December 2013 -- San Francisco-based bank holding company Orient Bancorporation said that its board has appointed Michael R Delucchi as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the company and its Bank of the Orient subsidiary subject to consent by the bank's regulatory agencies.

Delucchi has over 25 years of banking experience as chief administrative officer, chief marketing officer, chief technology officer, and Controller at various financial institutions in San Francisco and Northern California, the firm said.

He is active in business and community organisations including, among others, as president and board member of the Golden Gate Chapter of the Risk Management Association, a nonprofit organisation focused on risk management education for those in the banking industry, and the Alameda Boys and Girls Club.

Bank of the Orient, a privately-held independent community bank, is the oldest Chinese-American bank in San Francisco. Founded in 1971, the company is headquartered in San Francisco, California.

It has branches in San Francisco, Oakland, and Millbrae, California; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Xiamen, China, providing personal and business banking products and services for the Asian-American community.
