Deltacraft to launch air service across Kvarken.
Deltacraft, a Finnish regional airline, plans to start flights across Kvarken, the narrowest part of the Gulf of Bothnia, in the autumn.
The carrier reportedly planned to launch the service between Sweden and Finland during the summer, but approval of the needed licences has taken longer than expected.
There is currently no service between Vaasa, Finland and Umea, Sweden since Reguljair, a Swedish regional airline, cancelled the service due to a lack of connecting flights at both ends.
