Delta to fly from Atlanta to Moscow.

Delta Air Lines has submitted a request to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for permission to fly from Atlanta to Moscow.

Delta requested permission for a daily flight from Atlanta to Moscow, using a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, capable of carrying up to 204 people in a two-class configuration and featuring the airline's BusinessElite service.

Delta currently serves Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport daily from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and is the only US carrier serving Russia.
