Delphi Information Systems Inc. Users Groups Merge.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 1999--

Delphi Users Association Inc. (DUA) and Delphi Partners International Association Inc. (DPIA) Wednesday announced that they have voted to merge.

The combined organization will adopt the Delphi Users Association name. DUA is a collaborative user advocacy group for users of agency management systems from Delphi Information Systems Inc., including,, INfinity(R), INSIGHT(R) and Insurnet(R).

Carolyn Goodnight, the newly elected president of DUA, said: "I'm pleased that the merger of DUA and DPIA puts us just that much closer to a strong, unified Delphi user group. The diversity of our constituents, ranging from the very smallest agencies to the largest in the insurance industry, should lend a new perspective that can further enhance our discussions with Delphi."

The new organization will represent more than 400 user agencies and brokerages varying in agency size and will include some of the largest independent insurance agencies and brokerages in the United States. As a combined organization, DUA will represent the interest of its members with Delphi Information Systems and other software and hardware vendors in the insurance industry.

"The DPIA group is pleased about this merger and sees it as a very positive step in the forward-moving software arena," stated Eric Enis, previous president of DPIA and newly elected vice president of DUA. Upcoming activities for the association include active participation in Delphi product development, an Accounting Conference in Orlando, Fla., to be held Sept. 8-10, 1999, and a selection of regional meetings in October 1999.

In collaboration with the Association of Redshaw Insurance Agency Systems (ARIAS) users group, which represents another large group of Delphi users, DUA is in the planning stages for its 2000 annual conference, to be held in Las Vegas, June 20-23, 2000.
