Delhi police fail to rein bikers on Shab-E-Barat.

YENy DELHy (CyHAN)- Despite Delhi police's appeal to young men to avoid bike stunts, the bikers created menace on the streets of the national capital on Friday when the Muslim community observed Shab-e-Barat. Although elaborate arrangements were made by the police for the occasion, the bikers were seen performing dangerous stunts in Seelampur, Usmanpur and Shastri Park area of East Delhi. The bikers also had a scuffle with cops at Bhairo road and set a motorbike on fire.

According to police sources, over 100 bikes were impounded as the bikers were seen flouting traffic norms in several parts of the national capital. The detained bikers will be tried under Motor Vehicle Act.
