This review guide to pathology is presented in a question and answer format and is meant for students preparing for general comprehensive pathology tests and the USMLE series. It was written by top medical students--Galfione, Kronforst, and Conlon (pathology, pediatrics, and medicine, U. of Texas Medical School)--who recently took course exams and the USMLE Step 1. It covers general concepts and pathology by body system, as well as pediatric pathology, biochemistry, chromosomal pathology, microbiology, and a radiology review. Clinical vignettes are provided in the final chapter. The authors recommend use of the book with a color pathology atlas.
