Deep hole drilling.

The 200HP deep hole drilling system provides a drilling range of from .500" to 1.000" diameter and up to 36" deep (effective stroke). Designed for automotive steering rack drilling the 200HP can produce more than 250,000 in 5,400 working hours, a penetration rate of 10" per minute. The system is enhanced by automatic loading, transfer and unloading. A unique secondary process utilizes a twist drill to drill a 90 degree lubrication hole in four parts simultaneously, intersecting with the 23.74" deep hole; a post-drilling inspection provides continuous gaging to assure that the two holes intersect.
