Dedicated Malcolm is 'Mr Barford Tigers' VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD.

IN 1966, Malcolm founded the hockey club known as Barford Tigers, for inner-city boys.

Since then he has served as the school master, coach, captain, club secretary, club chairman and is currently the club president.

If it was not for him most of these boys would have been lost to the sport of hockey, many of which have been won representative honours, including full England Internationals.

He has been a mentor, father figure, inspirational leader as well as giving all his spare time to the administration of the club, which currently runs nine male sides and one female side.

Basically he is Mr Barford Tigers Hockey Club and has dedicated his life to the club.
