Decrease in the Palestinian Producer Price Index during January 2014, says Statistics Bureau.

Published on Thursday, 27 February 2014 11:16 PNN The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine decreased by 0.41% compared to December 2013, as it reached 106.37 in January 2014 with its base year (2011=100). Producer Price Index for locally consumed products decreased by 0.47% compared to December 2013, as it reached 106.63 in January 2014. Producer Price Index for exported products (2011=100) reached 103.69 in January 2014, which indicates an increase by 0.18% compared to December 2013. The changes of Producer Price Index for January 2014 were traced back to a decrease in the prices of the Agricultural goods by 1.19%, while the prices of fishing products, manufacturing group increased by 13.19%, 0.03% respectively). The prices of the Mining and quarrying were stable.
