Decision taken to expand Bara Kahu Housing Society.

ISLAMABAD -- Federal Government Employees Housing Federation (FGEHF) has decided to expand Bahra Kahu Housing Scheme (BKHS) launched for employees of federal government.

This scheme has been transformed into 13000 kanal mega project from 3000 kanal scheme. Due to expansion in the area of this scheme as many as 15000 employees will be accommodated. Foundation is holding 3000 kanal land in its possession at present. Land Acquisition Collector has issued notification of section four for acquiring 7000 acres land lying adjacent to society.

Sources said that allotment in respect of already existing 3200 plots will be made on first come first serve basis. The process of allotment will be started soon after approval is accorded by the board in this regard.
