Deca Technologies names Chris Seams as new CEO.

M2 EQUITYBITES-June 25, 2013-Deca Technologies names Chris Seams as new CEO(C)2013 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

Deca Technologies, an electronic interconnect solutions provider to the semiconductor industry, announced on Monday the appointment of Chris Seams as the new CEO of the company.

Seams has also been appointed to the company's board of directors. He succeeds Tim Olson, who will now serve as Deca's chief technology officer and a member of its board of directors.

Most recently Seams was with Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, where he served as executive vice president of Sales and Marketing. He had joined Cypress in 1990, where his prior other assignments included technical and operational management in manufacturing, development, and operations. Before joining Cypress, he worked in process development for Advanced Micro Devices and Philips Research Laboratories.

Deca Technologies Inc is a majority-owned and fully independent subsidiary of Cypress Semiconductor (Nasdaq:CY).
