Deaths.

Henry S. Ostrowski, a TAPPI member since 1990, passed away on November 5, 2002. Ostrowksi held various technical and engineering positions in the pulp and paper and packaging industries across Canada from 1939 to his retirement. From 1965-1967, he served as chairman of the TAPPI Corrugated Containers Process and Quality Control Committee. Ostrowksi retired in 1974 as technical director of Domtar Packaging Ltd. He held three Canadian pulp and paper patents and authored 21 published papers in Canadian and U.S. trade journals. In November 1998, Professional Engineers Ontario awarded him its Engineering Excellence Medal for his lifelong contributions to Canada's pulp and paper industry.
