John D. Anderson of Corinth, New York, USA, passed away.

Alex J. Doncer, a TAPPI member since 1975, died in January 2001.

William "Bill" LaFramboise died July 8, 2002 at the age of 71. A long time past PIMA member, he had a long career in the paper industry serving at Consolidated Paper in Grand Mere, Quebec, Canada; Rothesay Paper in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada; mill manager at Fraser Papers, Madawaaska, Maine, USA; and director of the Kruger Paper Mill in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, Canada, for which he was consulting at the time of his death.

Adolph A. "Pete" Peterson, Jr., a TAPPI member for over 50 years, died April 29, 2002 in Calhoun, Georgia, USA.

A TAPPI member since 1992, Allen E. Whitman of Whitman Associates Inc., died.
