BARKER ALFRED (Blyth). Peacefully on 24th September 2015, aged 100 years, Alfred (former Deputy Town Clerk of Blyth), beloved husband of the late Harriet, a much loved dad, grandad and great grandad. Loved and sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral Service to be held at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Wednesday 14th October at 11.15am. Friends please meet at crematorium. BREWSTER BARRY (Blackhill). On 1st October, aged 68 years, Barry, much loved husband of Margaret, dearly loved dad of Julie and fatherin-law to Phil also adored grandad to Lewis. BRYSON (FORMERLY DUNN) K ATHLEEN (Gateshead). Sadly passed away 30th September 2015, aged 93 years. COLBORN MEGAN ANN (Killingworth). Peacefully in hospital, surrounded by her loving husband and family on 5th October, aged 68 years, Ann, beloved wife and soul mate of Jim, a loving mam of Paul, Colin and Reece. DEAS JOHN EDMUND (formerly of Prestwick) Aged 74 years. In hospital on Saturday 26th September, sadly missed by wife Margot, son Richard, step-son Peter and all of the family. A private funeral was held on Tuesday 6th October.

DOUGLAS RITA (Lobley Hill) Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 4th October. Much loved wife of her late husband Larry. A much loved Mother of Laurence, Colin, Terry and Elaine. Respected Mother-in-Law of Maria, Kathleen and Sean. Devoted Grandmother of Christopher, Victoria, Andrew, Anthony, Lisa, Emma, Lee and Aimee. A very proud Great Grandmother of Jamie, Isla, Charlotte, Naomi, Katrin, Joe, Will, Luccia and Lyle. She was a very special person who will be sadly missed by us all. You tried so hard to stay with us but your struggle was in vain. God took you in his loving arms and freed you from your pain. A service will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (Lobley Hill) on the 12th October at 1.00pm then onto Saltwell Crematorium at 1.45pm. Peacefully on 4th October, aged 88 years, Bridget (Betty, nee Butler), dearly loved wife of the late Tommy, loving mother of Jeff, Kevin and the late Trevor and a treasured mother-inlaw, nanna, great nanna, great great nanna, loving sister and aunt. Jimmy, passed away in hospital on 29th September, aged 74 years, dearly loved husband and soulmate of Jean (nee Newell), loving dad of Carl and Trudi, father-inlaw of Karen and John and devoted grandad to Phillip, Alexander and Jenny. Jimmy's body has been donated to Medical Research as was always his wish, so we will be having a Humanist Memorial Service on Wednesday 14th October at 2.00pm in The Grand Hotel, Tynemouth. Service and Cremation took place at Lossiemouth on Wednesday 7th October 2015.

HUMBLE VICTORIA (Cowgate). Suddenly at home on 3rd October, aged 45 years, Vicky (nee Chambers), beloved wife of Ian, loving mam of Rebecca, step-mam to Marcia, Thomas, Annabel, Nathan and Bronwyn, loved sister of Andrew, dear aunty to Sean, Sophie and Aaron. ILEY MARK (Kenton). Peacefully but taken too soon with his loving family close by on Saturday 3rd October 2015, aged 50 years, Mark, a beloved husband to Susan, a loving dad of Lianne, Jordan and Cara, a devoted son of Joyce and the late Bob, a proud brother of the late Helen and Simon, a special nephew and cousin and a good neighbour and friend to all. Short service to be held at St. Wilfrid's R.C. Church, Waterloo Road, Blyth on 13th October at 12.00noon. Followed by wake at the Comrades Club in Wright Street, Blyth.
