HOPPER BREEDA (Whickham). Passed away peacefully on 26th March, aged 78 years, Breeda, beloved wife of the late Gerry, a much loved mam of Michelle, Catherine and Liam, a devoted grandma and friend to many. Will be sadly missed. Would friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Whickham on Tuesday 7th April at 10.15am, followed by cremation at Mountsett Crematorium at 11.45am. Peacefully at Kirkwood Court Care Home on 22nd March, aged 94 years, Freda, beloved wife of the late John, a much loved mother of Christine and Elizabeth, loving grandmother and great grandmother. LEACH RONALD (Lemington). Peacefully in hospital on 27th March, aged 83 years, Ronald Brian, beloved husband of the late Dolly, a much loved dad of Angela, Jacqueline, Janet and Anthony, a loving grandad, great grandad and fatherin-law to all the family. McCLELLAND ANDREW Died in Brisbane, Australia on March 26, 2015, aged 67 years. Formerly Director of Laws Stores Limited and founding Trustee of the Millfield House Foundation. He is survived by his wife, Lyn, and their two sons.

McDONALD ALFIE (Chopwell). Blackhill. Alfie, a devoted husband to the late Honor, passed peacefully on 29th March, aged 85 years, surrounded by his loving nieces and nephews. Rest in Peace xxx. McEWAN ANDREW (Newcastle). Peacefully in hospital on 24th March, aged 49 years, Andrew (Andy), beloved son of Bill and Joan, dearly loved brother of Fiona and Linda, dear brother-inlaw of Garry and a loving uncle of James, Duncan and Thomas, also a good friend to the late Syd. Andrew was a unique and special person, a prolific writer of poetry, fiction and whatever captured his imagination. He was very much loved by his family, friends and colleagues at St. Oswald's Hospice. Service and cremation to be held at West Road Crematorium on Friday 10th April at 10.30am. Afterwards all welcome to Benwell Hill Cricket Club to share memories of Andrew.
