BROWNLEES ROBERT (North Kenton). Robert passed away suddenly, on 19th November, aged 89 years, beloved husband of the late Margaret, devoted dad of Christina, Bobby, Paul, Madeline, Janice, Terry and Mark and a loving father-inlaw, grandad and great grandad. Robert will be very sadly missed by all family and friends. A golden heart stopped beating and now at peace you rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us that he only takes the best. Friends meet for service at The West Road Crematorium, Newcastle, on Monday 1st December at 3.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired, to Cancer Research. CALVERT PAUL (Dunston). Suddenly at home on November 6th, aged 48 years, Paul, a much loved brother of Mike and a dear cousin. Cortege leaving residence on Friday November 28th at 9.25am for Service and cremation at Saltwell Crematorium at 9.45am. To which all family and friends are invited. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Save the Children for which a donation box will be provided at the crematorium.

CUMMINGS WILLIAM (Birtley). Peacefully in St. Bede's Unit on November 19th, aged 80 years, Bill, dearly loved husband of Olga, devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Would friends please meet at Birtley Crematorium on Friday November 28th at 10.00am for service. DRING JOHN WILLIAM (Lemington). John William (Billy), Ex PTA Member. Passed away peacefully in hospital on 18th November aged 96. A loving dad, grandad and great grandad. DRYDEN WILLIAM (Byker). Suddenly on 20th November aged 78yrs, Bill, beloved husband of Carmel, much loved dad of Bill, Elaine and Terry and a dearly loved fatherin-law, grandad, brother and uncle. Requiem Mass at St Lawrences R.C. Church, Byker Crescent, Byker NE6 2JT on Monday 1st December at 11.00am followed by private cremation. R.I.P. Family flowers only please. ELLIOTT ESTHER (Winlaton). Peacefully on 23rd November 2014, aged 87 years, Esther, beloved wife of the late Jim, devoted mam of Jim and Brian, dear motherin-law of Pam and Carole, also loving grandma to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. GILSON CAROL (Stanley). Passed away in The University Hospital, Durham on 16th November, aged 69 years, beloved niece of Henry and Jean Rogers and Beatrice Elgie. Service at Mountsett Crematorium on Friday 28th November at 2.45pm.

HADLEY STEPHEN (Pelton). In hospital on the 18th November, aged 61 years, Steve (ice cream man) loved husband of Carole, dear dad of Dawn and Debbie, much loved grandad of Jodie, Kane, Jade, Daniel Amelia. Friends please meet at Pelton Parish Church on Friday 28th November, at 11.00am for service, followed by private cremation. Donations in lieu of flowers for Macmillan Nurses, a box will be available at the service.

HOLMES GEORGE (West Denton). Peacefully on 20th November, aged 76 years, George, beloved husband of Joan, much loved brother of Betty and Maureen, loved brotherin-law of Lorraine, Jeffrey and Jimma, dear uncle of Craig, Ashley, Dean, Jimmy and partner Tracy. JOHNSON NANCY (North Shields). On November 17th, after a short illness, aged 87 years, Nancy (nee Hunter), dearly beloved wife of the late Bill, a dearly loved mother of Blyth, Jean, Lesley and Bill and a dearest mother-in-law, grandma, great grandma, aunty, great aunty and cousin of all the family. Service at St. George's Church, Cullercoats on Friday November 28th at 12.45pm, followed by cremation at Whitley Bay Crematorium. Friends please meet at church. LEIGHTON ANTHONY (Wallsend). Peacefully with great courage and dignity on 16th November 2014, aged 47 years, Anthony, loving dad of Jack, Noel, Owen, Shay and Jules, precious son of Brenda and the late Stu, much loved brother of David, Lisa and Samantha, dearest uncle to Ryan, Alice, Oliver and Ellisia. MUSE ROBERT (Walkerdene). Peacefully at home with his family by his side on Monday 17th November 2014, aged 67 years, a much loved husband, dad, granda and brother. OGILVIE DOREEN (Axwell Park). Blaydon. Passed away peacefully after a sudden illness on 20th November 2014, aged 84 years, Doreen, dearly loved wife of the late Steve, much loved mother to Colin, Christine and Sheila, mother-inlaw to Amanda, Grandma to Simon and Jonathan, great grandma to William and George, loving sister to Ella and Gordon. Doreen will be very sadly missed by Michael and all her family and friends. Would friends please meet for Service at St. Cuthbert's Church, Blaydon on Friday 28th November at 11.45am, followed by cremation at Saltwell Crematorium, Gateshead. Family flowers only please, a retiring collection will take place after the service in aid of The British Heart Foundation.

OPHIELD BLANCHE (Whickham). Peacefully on 18th November, aged 91 years. Dear Blanche was much loved and will be sadly missed by all her friends. Following a brief committal at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton, on Friday 28th November at 12.30pm, a service will be held at The Kingdom Hall, Cowen Road, Blaydon, at 1.15pm.

RACE THOMAS (Benton). After a short illness on 16th November, aged 77 years, Thomas, dearly loved husband of the late Betty, loving dad and grandad. Family and friends please meet for Service at St. Bartholomews Church on Friday 28th November at 10.15am, followed by interment at Benton Cemetery at 11.00am. STOWAR MICHAEL (Cramlington). Suddenly at home on 18th November, aged 72 yrs, Doug, beloved husband of Maureen, much loved dad of Julie, Lyndsey and the late Paul and dearly loved grandad of Danielle and Adam. Requiem Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Great Lime Road, Forest Hall on Tuesday 2nd December at 12.00noon, followed by interment at Benton Cemetery at 1.15pm. TAYLOR VERA (North Shields). Peacefully on 19th November, aged 98 years, Vera Raeburn (nee Dixon, formerly Keyes), beloved mother of Tom and Stewart and mother-in-law of Joan and Eleanor, grandma to Lisa, Simon, Leigh and Laura and great grandma of Lewis, Connor, Hollie and Freya. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Whitley Bay Crematorium, on Thursday 27th November at 9.45am.

TURNBULL HILDA (Benton). Peacefully in hospital on 17th November, aged 94 years, Hilda, dear mother of Carole and motherin-law of Michael, she will be sadly missed by Alan and all of the family. The Funeral Service took place at The West Road Crematorium on Monday 24th November.

WARDLE CATHERINE (Cramlington). Catherine (Kitty), passed away peacefully after a short illness on November 18th, aged 79 years, beloved wife of the late Jack, much loved mam of John and George, devoted grandma of Nathan, Adam, Kirsty and Thomas and a sister of Mary. Kitty will be very sadly missed. Friends please meet for Graveside Service and interment at Bedlington Cemetery on Friday November 28th at 11.00am. Flowers may be sent c/o H. WILSON ISABELL (Sunniside). On 21st November, aged 71 years, Isabell, dearly loved wife of Tom, dearest mam of Stephen, Lee, Nicola and Scott and a much loved grandma. Sadly missed by all her friends and family. Friends invited to service at Mountsett Crematorium on Thursday 27th November at 2.00pm. All welcome afterwards at The Potter's Wheel.
