BOTCHERBY RICHARD (DICK) (Formerly of Chesterle-Street). On April 8th, Richard (Dick) aged 91 years, beloved husband of the late Jessie, a dear father of Richard and sadly missed by Joanna and all the family. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday 3rd May at 11-30am. All welcome for refreshments at The Duke of Wellington afterwards. BUSH EDITH MARY (Benton) Peacefully in hospital with her family around her on April 18th, aged 93 years, Edith Mary (nee Anderson). Dearly loved wife of the late Ernest George, dear mam of Wendy, George, Joan and Edith, motherin-law of Chris, Maureen, Colin and Stu, a much loved nana of Allison, Scott, Claire, Joanne and Gillian, a much loved great nana and great great nana, dear sister of Ethel and Norma and sister-in-law to Harry. COOMBS MARINA (Nee Hetherington) Died on 11th April 2017, aged 82 years, after a 3 and a half year battle with cancer. Funeral was held at Blyth crematorium on 25th April 2017. EDWARDS DAVID (OBE) (Witton Park, Bishop Auckland). Passed away peacefully, with family present at the James Paget Hospital on Friday April 14th 2017, aged 67 years. Loving husband of Jan and much loved dad, granddad and brother. SIMPSON ANN (Nee Lamb) (Walker). Peacefully surrounded by her family on 18th April, aged 72 years. Loving mother of John, Steven and Lindsey, proud nana of Carly, Jodon, Olivia and Amelia, great-nana of Isabelle and the twins Lydia and Heidi, she was also a dear auntie, and motherin-law of Angela, she will also be greatly missed by her brothers.
