Death walk to nail a killer.

Police are to stage a re- construction of the last hours of a murdered spinster.

Loner Marion Ross, 51, was found battered to death in her home in Irvine Road, Kilmarnock, last week.

But there has been a slow response from the public to appeal for information.

Marion was last seen alive 48 hours before the police found her body.

And police hope the reconstruction will help jog the memory of vital witnesses who may have seen her walking or shopping locally before the savage murder.

Described as an eccentric, Marion always wore the same clothes - a quilted jacket, two jumpers, blue cords and a red ski hat.

A woman police officer will probably be used to play the part of Marion.
