WE all want a Britain where we have dignity for life.

That's why the government has increased adult social services funding by pounds 850million and is investing almost pounds 250m in research and development into the needs of older people.

But we have got further to go. A health and social care White Paper will also plan reform of social services to help put older people at the centre of care.
