Dear Mirror: The BIG Issue - England's almighty triumph.

THE England cricket team celebrated their historic 2-1 Ashes triumph over Australia with a victory parade through Central London. A 100,000-strong crowd lined the streets on Tuesday to celebrate with our boys. Here Mirror readers pay their tributes to our heroes.

HAVING watched what was arguably the most exciting Test series in history, let us not forget that although there has always been an intense rivalry between England and Australia in cricket, both sides exemplified the spirit of how sport should be played.

If only all sporting contests could be played in the same way. Take note, footballers.
