Dear Jo: Readers' letters.

Take them all, Edward

I WAS uttterly appalled by Tony Parsons totally unjustified attack on Prince Edward.

It's got to the stage that these poor people can't even defend themselves without being slaughtered in the Press.

At least he's tried to do something with his life.

S Kelly, Broomhill Glasgow

AFTER watching the TV programme 'Welcome to Australia' about the plight of the Aboriginal people, I would urge all athletes from around the world to boycott the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.

Mrs Mary Reilly, Dundee

I'M extremely upset about the treatment the teacher who smacked his daughter at the dentist has been receiving.

This man has been harassed by social workers for what was an honest mistake.

Yet what about the mother who will not let her daughter be tested for HIV? This could be life threatening. Shouldn't the authorities be more concerned with the latter issue?

Mrs M. Rosser, Paisley
