Dear Jo: Readers' letters: GOODBYE FROM JO.
SAYING goodbye is never easy, particularly when those you are wishing farewell are Mirror readers. After four-and-a-half years of being your letters editor I am moving on to pastures new.The huge amount of letters I have received taught me the enormous warmth, compassion, intelligence and humour - some of it unprintable - that constitutes a "Mirror reader". I will miss you, and the page, very much.
Some of you have treated me as your confidante and others have written to me as a friend. I will remember these confidences and hope you remember me as your friend.
I hope you will welcome my friend Gerrie, your new letters editor, as warmly as you did me. Good luck to you all. I'll turn to Dear Gerrie every day to see how you're all getting on! - Jo
