Deal snapshot: EXCELSIOR ENERGY CAPITAL ACQUIRES 90% OF 109MW OPERATING WIND PORTFOLIO.

Minnesota, US-based renewable energy investor Excelsior Energy Capital's North American Renewable Energy Fund has executed definitive agreements to acquire of 90.1% of Chicago, US-based Invenergy's sponsor equity interests in the combined 109mw Nebraska, US-based Prairie Breeze II and Prairie Breeze III projects, the company said.

The transaction is expected to close in December 2019 upon certain closing conditions having been met. These projects benefit from an over three-year operating track record having begun operations in late 2015, and early 2016, respectively.
