Day care center moves to Fort Lee Executive.

The First Step Nursery School & Day Care Center Inc., a fully licensed and well-established child care facility founded in 1983, recently moved to Fort Lee Executive Park.

The 600,000-square-footmulti-tenant Corporate park is one of the area's first and only to have on-site child care.

First Step is located on the lobby level of the central building between the two main structures, with easy access from the parking area, the offices and the street. At the same time, it is completely separated from the main office areas. It is open to children of parents working at Fort Lee Executive Park as well as other area residents, including commuters to Manhattan whose children comprise a large part of the school's current population.

Previously situated at another Fort Lee location, First Step provides total child care services for children from birth to age 10. Licensed by the State of New Jersey with a fully certified staff, the center offers day care, preschool and after-school programs, as well as an accredited kindergarten. The school utilizes hands-on experience to implement a "learning should be fun" philosophy. Children receive instruction in arts and crafts, exercise, music and dance, and frequently participate in field trips.

A two-building complex, Fort Lee Executive Park is the home of a prestigious roster of New Jersey corporations including Chase Securities Processing, General Electric, Computer Associates, Bruno Blenheim, A.L. Laboratories, Couristan, Kawasho, Dainippon, Dongkuk, the Korean National Tourism Corporation and many others. The 26-acre site contains parking for about 2,300 cars, including 1,850 garage spaces. The buildings have loading docks, handicapped facilities, service elevators and 24-hour access. The company has on-site ownership, management and its own construction department, all located at One Executive Drive. In addition, the park has a 13.26 acre site with approved plans for a 28-story, 800,000-square-foot tower.
