Davis & Companies/RFR Holdings break ground for The Seville.
The 32-story rental tower, to be known as The Seville, will rise at 300 East 77th Street, at the southeast corner of Second Avenue. It is located in close proximity to where Davis, together with its partner, RFR Holdings, headed by Aby Rosen and Michael Fuchs, have two other works in progress -- The Empire, a 77-unit luxury condo-minium at 188 East 78th Street, at Third Avenue, and the Impala, a three-building, 216-unit rental and apartment complex nearing completion at 1452-1458 First Avenue, between 75th and 76th Streets.
Acting as design architect for the project, Robert A.M. Stem has created a limestone and brick tower containing 149 studio, one, two and three-bedroom residences.
Scheduled to open in the Spring of 2001, The Seville will feature approximately 10,000 square feet of ground floor retail space along with garage parking
