* Macedonian ambassador to Hungary Darko Angelov at a lecture held
in Budapest reminded Belgium that Macedonia is not facing a veto only
now when trying to receive a date for start of EU accession talks but it
has been a victim of an entire series of vetoes over the past 18 years,
whether it was for the European Union, NATO or the United Nations.
Angelov says that Brussels has eyes for the Balkans only in times of war
and is not in situation to keep the situation under control because with
wrong assessment, it does not support a unique course for pacification of this region on a long term basis. Angelov held this speech in during
the meeting of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers in Sarajevo.
