Darian denies false statements ascribed to him on Saudi Arabia.

NNA - The press office of Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdullatif Darian, on Thursday denied false statements ascribed to him in media outlets on Saudi Arabia, clearing up that such attribution only aims to distort and shake his "strong relation with the Kingdom." The Mufti considered therein that those bids merely meant to mar his spiritual, national, and Arab role. "The Grand Mufti's positions, statements, and meetings with all the Lebanese are unconcealed and steady towards both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Arab consensus; every contrarious publication is unfounded," the statement read. ==========R.A.H.
