Dar Academy lose first match on European tour.

LAHORE -- After registering six successive wins, Pakistan's Dar Hockey Academy lost the first match of their European tour against Tilburg Club in Belgium 2-4 on Friday.

For the tourists, Ali Aziz, their leading scorer on the tour, and Wasim Akram shared the scoring honours.

Tilburg Club play in Hoofdklasse, which is the top tier of Dutch league, regarded as the world's top domestic hockey competition. The club have seven synthetic pitches. They are presently coached by Jeroen Delmee.

The host club made a fine start taking a solid 2-0 lead in the first half. They extended the lead to 4-0 in the second half before Dar Academy scored back-to-back goals to reduce the margin of defeat.

For the home team, Krens scored a brace while Sander Viseen and Lucas van Bergeijk chipped in with a goal each.
