Danny's staying cool with a capital sea.

Byline: EAST FIFE v MORTON ALAN ROBERTSON

DANNY DENHOLM is keeping the cool during a red-hot fixture frenzy by jumping in the sea.

The East Fife winger warmed up for today's clash with Ton by scoring the clincher in Thursday's 1-0 win over Clyde.

He then warmed down with an 8am trip to Wardie Bay in Edinburgh as he gears up for the

Fifers' fourth game in eight days.

Denholm said: "Best way to recover is an ice bath apparently. My pal and I thought we would give it a go.

"I couldn't get past my belly button, too cold. Got the legs in, that was the most important thing.

"I'll hopefully get up to my shoulders next time."

Ton have signed up academy graduates Lewis McGrattan, Alexander Easdale, Michael Garrity and Chris Wylie.

Boss Gus MacPherson said: "They have shown that they are ready to make the step up."
