NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-29 May 2003-Danish opposition demands explanation from the government(C)1994-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

The Danish opposition has demanded that the government reconsider the information it gave to the parliament regarding the claimed weapons of mass destruction owned by Saddam Hussein.

The demand was made after the USA said that the weapons of mass destruction may have been destroyed before the war started. The Danish parties Det Radikale Venstre and Enhedslisten have said that the government owes the parliament an explanation on how it looks at the information it gave, reported Ritzau, a Danish news service.
