Daniel Label Moves Ahead With Traditional Practices

Daniel Label Printing Inc. 3021 Lincoln Ave. North Little Rock Irv Daniel, owner

When S.E. Daniel began printing gummed labels in 1930, pressure sensitive labels didn't exist, says his son, Irv Daniel, the current owner of Daniel Label Printing. Over the years, the company has been innovative enough to expand into pressure sensitive printing, but traditional enough to retain longtime clients.

Irv Daniel doesn't know how many labels the company produces in a year, but it just finished one typical order for four million. The company's clients include meat packing businesses, heavy industry and bakeries.

One bakery is working with the second generation of Daniels, having used the printing company's services for the last 30 years. And Irv Daniel is introducing yet a third generation into the business. Four of his children now work in the business established by his father.

With 22 employees and modern flexographic printing equipment, Daniel Label Printing currently operates out of 10,000 SF in North Little Rock, and a 15,000 SF expansion is under construction. Irv Daniel's philosophy of service is simple. He just plans to continue to take real good care of existing clients, he says.
