Daniel L. Lilie.

Daniel L. Lilie (photo), 32, has been appointed a vice president of Commercial Developments International/East (CDI), a New York City-based national real estate firm, according to Alan T. Kessler, CDI president.

Lilie, who will specialize in acquisition and development for the firm, formerly served for five years as vice president of The Hammerson Property Corporation, a subsidiary of The Hammerson Group, a $4 billion, London real estate company. He was involved in numerous areas of the firm's activities, including leasing, marketing, construction and acquisitions.

Earlier, Lilie was a founder of Hudson Town Development Corp. in Peekskill, New York.

Lilie holds an MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics from Cornell University in 1981.
