Dani boy is kicked out.

West Ham have sensationally sacked Portuguese wonder kid Dani - the Sporting Lisbon star rated at pounds 5m.

Hammers boss Harry Redknapp has washed his hands of the talented Under- 21 international following a serious breach of club discipline.

The flashpoint came when Dani failed to turn up for training on Friday claiming he was ill.

But only hours before he had been seen enjoying himself in a nightclub. That was the final straw

for Redknapp, who has found Dani's laid back style difficult to come to terms with.

"You can take it he's got no future at West Ham after what has happened," said Redknapp.

"He did not turn up for training on Friday and apparently he told people he was ill.

"I can't run a football club like that and Dani will go back to Portugal at the end of the season."

The bust up explained why Dani was missing from injury hit West Ham's squad at QPR yesterday, where the Hammers crashed 3-0.

Redknapp took Dani on loan until the end of the season and had planned to bring him back again next term.

Now that has been scrapped and Redknapp makes it clear he can't wait to see the back of Dani - a glamour boy who was a huge hit with the girls.

DARREN Anderton survived his first full game for Spurs in seven months yesterday and said after their 1-1 draw with Chelsea: 'It was hot and tough - I'll see how my groin feels when I wake up. England? We will just have to wait and see how it turns out."
