Damaging to country remaining in EU limbo; LETTERS Get in touch - tell us what you think Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Twitter: @coventrytelegraph Facebook: facebook.com/coventrytelegraph Post: Coventry Telegraph, Leicester Row, Canal Basin, Coventry, CV1 4LY.
I HOPE that Mr Bill Kirby is right, and I look forward to eating, as he suggests, "a large portion of humble pie when we leave the EU and go from strength to strength and make our country a better place to live."
For the time being, we are still full members of the EU, and yet still in economic limbo.
Leading Leave campaigner and Conservative MP Nadhim Zahawi now believes we should pay PS8.5 billion per year into the EU budget (the amount the EU will be missing when we leave), in order to stay in the single market.
Perhaps the matter will be settled reasonably quickly, and I hope so. The longer we remain in limbo, the more damaging.
