Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport launches 'Year of the International Traveler' with new services.

On 15 January, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport said it is launching 'Year of the International Traveler' with a new service to San Salvador, El Salvador.

The new service will be launched on 7 April by American Airlines, making the total number of international destinations served directly by American from the airport 36.

The airport also said that the new service to El Salvador is set to launch a week following the launch of American and British Airways' new service to London's Heathrow Airport. In addition a new KLM Royal Dutch Airlines service from Amsterdam to DFW on 30 March will also mark the 'Year of the International Traveler'.
