Daimler Buses receives contract for 100 Orion VII clean-diesel and diesel-hybrid buses.

Daimler Buses North America (Daimler Buses), a subsidiary of Daimler AG (NYSE: DAI) (FWB: DAI), has received a contract for around 100 Orion VII clean-diesel and diesel-hybrid buses.
The company has received an order for 81 Orion VII diesel transit buses from Suffolk County Transit, one Orion VII diesel and three Orion VII diesel-electric hybrid buses from Ulster County Area Transit (UCAT), and four Orion VII diesel transit buses and two Orion VII hybrid transit buses from Dutchess County Bus System.
The automaker will be providing four diesel models to the University of Georgia for its Campus Transit System.
