28 September 2015 - US-based entertainment-focused advertising agency The Kluger Agency (TKA's) has closed the partial acquisition of the agency by a strategic investment group comprising Dahill Investments LP and Wager H.S. LLC, the firm said.
Founded in 2009 by its CEO, Adam Kluger, the agency has partnered over 100 brands with recording artists including Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Iggy Azalea, Flo Rida, and Enrique Iglesias.
Completed transactions include global endorsement deals, product placement initiatives, and strategic performance compensated partnerships.
The principal players in the new investment group are Hillel Frankel, Milton Barbarosh, and David Alter.
Frankel, Barbarosh and Alter assume the roles as president, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, respectively, of TKA.
Prior to joining TKA, Frankel served for over 12 years as president of Madacy Entertainment, an independent record label, and as CEO of Countdown Media, a music licensing company.
Alter has music industry experience having spent over twenty years as vice president of Madacy Entertainment focusing on special marketing and strategic relationships.
While the financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed, Adam Kluger will remain an equity partner in TKA and both serve on its board and continue in his role as CEO and head of global artist partnerships.
In addition, Kluger serves as CEO of his newly formed record company Nontra Records, which has projects due out this year from Grammy award winning recording artists Flo Ridaand B.O.B.
