Daddy's girl steps into limelight; Caught live..

Byline: DAN SILVER

EMELI SANDE KOKO, CAMDEN, LONDON THE hype surrounding new girl on the block Emeli Sande reached new heights at her sold-out Koko gig - it had fans hanging from the rafters.

Having written songs for Leona Lewis and Cheryl Cole, the Aberdeen songstress was clearly relishing her moment in the limelight.

Her rich voice and passionate delivery of hits Heaven and Daddy along with a poignant chorus for Professor Green's No 1 Read All About It left the audience spellbound.

Thanking us profusely, she told us about Mountains, composed in gratitude to her parents.

A singer of such grace, humility and talent deserves our adulation. HANNAH HOPE
