The United manager promised his unsung summer signings that they can quickly earn a place in his Premiership plans.
Carl Serrant, Stephen Glass, Gorgio Giorgiadis and Garry Brady have quietly slipped into St James's Park during the summer.
"We've brought in four youngsters, which is an area where we've not been strong," said Dalglish. "If the young lads can force their way into the first team, I will be delighted."
