DaDafest date for David.

CANADIAN David Roche reckons facial disfigurement had a relatively benign effect on his sexual development - at least compared to being raised as a Catholic!

His show Caths olic Erotica, coming to the Unity theatre this weekend as part of DaDaFest 2012, is a "humorous journey through the dark forest of rules and repression into the sunlight of enjoyment of life (this life, not the next one)".

Expect some near the knuckle debate involving Saint Sebastian the Martyr and why good Catholic boys are attracted to women with very large, well developed ... halos? British Columbia-based David, who is described as an "inspirational humorist" was born with a severe facial disfigurement and underwent many operations as a child.

But he says it means he's been forced to deal with the challenge. ? David Roche brings Catholic Erotica to the Unity on September 1 at 8pm. Tickets are pounds 10/pounds 8 on 0844 873 2888.
