 DYNISCO, INC. FINALIZES PURCHASE OF KONA CORPORATION
 SHARON, Mass., July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Dynisco, Inc. and KONA


Corporation announced the final purchase of KONA Corp. by Dynisco. The agreement, which was initially spelled-out in a late April document, was finalized on July 7, 1992. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
 As part of the Dynisco Companies, KONA's present management will remain intact, and the company will continue to operate from its 40,000-square-foot facility in Gloucester, Mass., as a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynisco, Inc.
 Roger E. Brooks, president and chief executive officer of Dynisco, said, "We are excited to be able to complete this purchase of KONA and include them into our strong group of process improvement companies, serving the plastics industry worldwide. KONA is an especially good fit due to their strength in the injection molding segment, an area which Dynisco has targeted for aggressive expansion."
 Dynisco, Inc., headquartered in Sharon, Mass., manufactures testing, monitoring, processing and control equipment primarily for the plastics industry. Established in 1953, the company and its present subsidiaries: Kayeness, Normag and Bindicator, report over $50 million in annual sales. Active throughout the world, Dynisco has direct locations in Germany, France, Italy, the U.K., and Japan.
 Founded in 1978, KONA manufactures hot-runner systems and related equipment for the plastics injection molding industry. Their present sales are approaching $15 million and they employ 140 people.
