 DYNCORP WINS $76 MILLION NAVY CONTRACT
 RESTON, Va., Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- DynCorp, formerly


Dynalectron Corporation, has been awarded a U.S. Navy contract to continue providing test and evaluation of aircraft weapons systems at the Naval Air Test Center, Patuxent River, Md. DynCorp has performed these services since 1978. The new five-year contract is valued at $76 million.
 The Naval Air Test Center is the Navy's premier aircraft testing facility, conducting 2,000 tests a year on more than 100 aircraft. It is slated to be the site of the Navy's new Aircraft Division and by 1995 will the focus of all Navy aircraft and avionics testing. According to DynCorp President and CEO Dan R. Bannister: "DynCorp is proud of its 13-year tenure on this contract. The company is also pleased to play a continuing role in the center's vision to be the world leader in aircraft weapon systems test and evaluation and acquisition support."
 With a work force of more than 300, DynCorp supports the Navy's effort to analyze the total performance of aircraft weapon systems. DynCorp employees design and install test instrumentation; design and construct mobile, stationary and remote-controlled targets; and monitor all aspects of performance at the Range Control Center. Under separate contracts, DynCorp also analyzes test data and provides operation and maintenance services for aircraft used in the test programs.
