DYNCORP WINS $122 MILLION DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE CONTRACT

 RESTON, Va., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- DynCorp, a professional and technical services firm, has been awarded a Department of Justice (DOJ) contract to provide administrative support services to eight federal agencies involved in the DOJ's Asset Forfeiture Program. Under the five-year contract, which is valued at more than $122 million, DynCorp will provide approximately 950 employees at over 366 locations in 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. DynCorp will also support contract headquarters in Washington, and regional management offices in Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles and Atlanta.
 The Asset Forfeiture Program is administered by the DOJ Executive Office of Asset Forfeiture. It provides support services to the Drug Enforcement Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Immigration and Naturalization Service, U.S. Attorney's office, U.S. Marshals Service, and other federal agencies empowered to seize property and assets on behalf of the U.S. government. DynCorp personnel will provide clerical support, data analysis, legal process support, property custody, procurement operations, mail and file room operations, and report preparation.
 According to DynCorp Government Services Group President Paul V. Lombardi, "The Asset Forfeiture Program is critical to the effectiveness of law enforcement nationwide. In addition, Lombardi added, "The contract award falls in line with DynCorp's strategy to continue diversification by applying our existing capabilities in new markets."
