DYNCORP RECEIVES EMPLOYER EXCELLENCE AWARD

 RESTON, Va., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- DynCorp, a diversified professional and technical services firm, today announced that its COSIS Division in Alameda, Calif., recently received the state of California's Governor's Certificate for Employer Excellence for providing outstanding employment services to veterans. DynCorp's COSIS Division provides logistic support for the Navy's Fleet Hospital Program, which maintains modular hospitals aboard ships for assembly and use in conflict.
 During the annual California Employer of the Year Awards luncheon held on Jan. 22, Paul Lombardi, president of DynCorp's Government Services Group, accepted the award which recognizes DynCorp's commitment to job opportunities for veterans, excellent working conditions and community involvement. Nominated by the Oakland Employment Development Department, DynCorp COSIS is one of 12 statewide award winners announced by Thomas P. Nagle, director of the state of California Health and Welfare Agency.
 Receipt of this award reaffirms DynCorp's longstanding excellence in veterans job opportunities, promotion, working conditions and involvement in the community. The company has received numerous awards for its veterans employment policies.
