DYNAMIX: THE GREAT WAR PLANES LEGEND CONTINUES; 'ACES OVER EUROPE' RELEASES

EUGENE, Ore., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Dynamix Inc., a leading developer of interactive entertainment software, announced today the eagerly awaited release of Aces over Europe, the fourth entry in Damon Slye's Great War Plane series.
Aces over Europe follows Dynamix's best-selling flight simulation of 1992, Aces of the Pacific. It offers the player the most intense and historically detailed simulation yet, taking quality and realism to new levels as it recreates the men, machines and experience of World War II aerial combat in the European Theater of war. "Aces over Europe is a recreation of the experience of World War II combat," said Damon Slye, game designer. "It's not just a simulation of machines and battles but of the people and events that make up our history."
Aces over Europe covers the period from June 1944 through May 8, 1945 and chronicles the events from the invasion of Normandy, D-Day, the liberation of Paris and the final German surrender that marks the end of war in the European Theater. Pilots can choose to fly in the German Luftwaffe, the U.S. Army Air Force and Great Britain's Royal Air Force engaging in both air-to-air and air-to-ground battles. The player will patrol the frontlines, target supply depots and come face-to-face with moving ground targets and enemy aces. It's an all new battle covering land, air and sea with explosions, billowing clouds of smoke, raging fires and bullet ridden cockpits. Aces over Europe allows players to experience history as if they were there.
Aces over Europe is available for MS-DOS systems at a suggested retail price of $69.95 and requires a 386DX or better, DOS 5.0 or higher, 4 MB of RAM, hard drive and VGA graphics. A mouse and joystick are recommended and the game supports Thrustmaster products, yokes, rudder pedals, CH Flightstick Pro, joysticks with throttle control and dual joysticks. All major sound boards are supported for the original music and sound effects. Aces over Europe may be purchased from major software retailers, computer superstores or direct from Sierra, 800-326-6654.
