 DYNAIR TECH OF TEXAS ACQUIRES NEW FACILITIES, 747 HANGAR
 RESTON, Va., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- DynAir Tech of Texas, at Amarillo International Airport, a unit of DynCorp, recently acquired three additional hangars including a wide-body hangar capable of fully accommodating a Boeing 747. The aircraft maintenance and modification center now includes five buildings with a capacity of more than 180,000 square feet, including support shops, offices and stores. The facility also includes 14 acres of paved ramp area for short- and long-term aircraft storage.
 DynAir Tech of Texas began operation in August of 1990, to complement the capabilities of the DynAir Tech maintenance facilities in Miami and Phoenix. "With access to a 13,600 foot runway and centrally located in the continental United States, Amarillo is an ideal location for aircraft maintenance and storage," said DynAir President Richard Webb. With the current expansion, DynAir Tech of Texas plans to eventually add some 250 employees to its work force.
 DynAir is one of the largest aviation support organizations in the United States. With 4,500 employees at 60 airports nationwide, DynAir provides, in addition to maintenance, ramp, passenger and cargo services, into-plane fueling, avionics repair and technical and professional consulting services for domestic and international carriers, lessors, financial institutions and operators. The parent company, DynCorp, is an employee-owned professional and technical services firm headquartered in Reston.
