 DYNAIR AWARDED GECC CONTRACT TO DISASSEMBLE, MARKET NINE 727S
 RESTON, Va., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- DynCorp's Commercial Aviation Services Group (DynAir) has been awarded a contract by General Electric Capital Corporation to assemble, inventory, and remarket nine Boeing 727-200s.
 The aircraft will be disassembled at DynAir's maintenance facility in Amarillo, Texas. Engines and individual parts or shipsets will be repaired or overhauled as necessary and leased or sold. DynAir Tech of Texas is one of three DynAir maintenance and modification centers. It was recently expanded and upgraded with the addition of three major hangars, including one which will fully house a Boeing 747.
 DynAir is one of the largest aviation support organizations in the United States. With 4,500 employees at 60 airports nationwide, DynAir provides maintenance, ramp, passenger and cargo services, into-plane fueling, avionics repair and technical and professional consulting services for domestic and international carriers, lessors, financial institutions and operators. The parent company, DynCorp, is a majority employee-owned professional and technical services firm headquartered in Reston.
