 DYNA GROUP PHASING OUT SUBSIDIARY
BROADVIEW, Ill., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Dyna Group International,

Inc. (NASDAQ: DGIX) announced today that it is phasing out the operations of its Great American Marketing Services subsidiary. According to Chief Executive Officer Roger Tuttle, "The decision was made primarily because the subsidiary's continuing losses were adversely affecting the profitability of the company, whose two remaining subsidiaries, Great American Products, Inc. and XLM, Inc., are operating on a profitable basis. Mr. Tuttle stated that "the decision is compatible with management's commitment to achieve consistent profitability for the company." He further stated that "with the retroactive elimination of Great American Marketing Services, the operating sales of the company for the six months ended June 30, 1992, increased from $3.9 million to $6.0 million -- 55 percent and pretax operating profits increased from $84,000 to $403,000 or 380 percent over the same period in 1991."
Dyna Group International is engaged in the business of manufacturing and importing consumer products for sale to the sports, recreational and gift markets. Its Great American Products subsidiary produces and sells cast products and pewter enhanced glassware and professional and collegiate licensed products to over 11 counties as well as Fortune 500 companies including Sears, J.C. Penney and Hallmark. The XLM subsidiary distributes and markets Continental bicycle tires and bicycle accessory products and is the exclusive distributor for DuPont's Teflon Drivetrain(R) lubricant.
